The body is connected with instinct, with the unconscious. When we put the body in motion, everything that we are, as individuals and as a species, resonates within it.
.
In my workshops we work the body in movement. Exploring it through different formal possibilities, we seek to experience ourselves in different bodily states, and perceive our body in motion in multiple textures.
I am interested in the way in which this physical practice opens a path that leads us to connect the movement with some part of ourselves. And that makes us integrate the mental, the instinctive and the emotional into the movement.
.
I work the voice as a movement of the body that is amplified in space. And I am interested in the way in which it feeds on the energetic and emotional state that the body sustains.
.
My workshops open a space for exploration, in which I invite participants to discover through the body in motion, whatever it is that moves within us. The work we do in the workshop will nourish them with tools that allow them to structure and compose, on what moves in them, towards a scenic act that we share with the group.
Dance theater classes
Children and youth
The workshop creates a space for games, in which children and young people can express their creativity. During the classes they acquire theater-dance tools that help them show thought and emotion through the body and voice.
We work to be aware of our body, its parts, its location in space. We delve into the creation of characters, seeking to make them experience multiple energetic and emotional states. With the work material that we obtain from the improvisations, we create a scenic work, which responds to the interests and creative needs of the participants.
.
We use theater as a pedagogical tool that facilitates self-knowledge and personal and group empowerment.
