Description
“Hereva” is built through the metaphor that woman and land are one body, and generates the link between the rural landscape of Ibiza, the choreographic creation and the feminine legacy of our ancestors, conceiving the body and the landscape as a territory of living memory that contains the traces of habits, customs, celebrations and conflicts, transmitted throughout generations of women.
“Hereva” uses the energetic power of the body and the image to trace these traces, latent in the bond and emotions that connect a mother with her daughter, investigating the feminine patterns that we inherit and transmit, honoring the abundance, life, strength and vulnerability of the earth and of women, we dance to free them from their plunder and subjugation.
